Blowing Rock's noted series of art and craft shows, Art in the Park, kicks off its 42nd season this year. This award-winning series of juried shows is known for its careful blend of both fine handcrafts and art. Admission is FREE. Welcoming visitors since 1933, the Blowing Rock is North Carolina's oldest travel attraction. Visitors enjoy the beautiful short scenic walk with a garden waterfall, gardens, an observation tower and unique gift shops. The attraction is open daily from March through December and weekends in January and February, weather permitting.
